I first wanted to say thank you for following my journey so far. I know that it has been a while since I have posted anything and for that, I apologize. Please continue having patience, and I’ll tell you why.
This past month or two has been hectic with me starting college again to get my Bachelor’s degree in Complementary and Alternative Health. Yeah, that’s right. At the age of 45, I am back in school. I’ll be in school for a minimum of 4 years unless I can figure a way to double up on my courses.
Here’s the other reason. Some of you may remember that I am my mother’s caregiver. Well, she decided to fall and break her hip. No, don’t worry. She is doing great! Even has started walking with a walker and it’s only been about a 10 days since her operation. She is perky and sassy, just the way I like her. Though I do miss her being home.You would think that wouldn’t stop me from blogging. Well, it hasn’t.

I must have eaten something that had a massive amount of gluten in it because I have been sick for a little over 2 weeks. I think it is finally working its way out of my body, but it has kicked me squarely in the ass. I am not doing well. Between that, my arthritis, the stress of school, the stress of mom’s health, and my mental health – I’m taking a break. I’ve barely been posting on my Instagram or my blog-thing on the Amino App, Vegan. I rarely do anything on Twitter or Facebook either. As my health improves, I will be back with a vengeance. I have so many recipes to share and so many ideas.
So, I ask, my friends, for you to continue being patient. I’ll be back. I promise.
